Inversion Art invests in and stewards visual artists who are at an inflection point in their careers.

Accelerator Investment Program

Each year, Inversion Art chooses two groups of 15 artists to receive a $15k - $100k investment (in the form of art acquisition) and five years of comprehensive studio services. Artists also take part in a three-month low-residency program (our accelerator) designed to define success and set goals for the artist’s practice and career. At the end of those three-months, we mount an exhibition of the artists’ works and connect the artists to the supporters and collaborators who the they have identified as essential to their success.

We invest this time, capital, and attention in both promising and proven artists. Our goal is to give every artist we work with the connections and operational support they need to create their greatest work.

Studio Management Services

Inversion Art provides artists with studio administrative services. For artists whose goals are to expand their practice, these services increase the capacity of their studio operation without the cost of hiring in-house managers or the headache of juggling multiple part-time contractors.

Each artist is assigned a primary Artist Liaison who oversees Inversion's delivery of the following services:

• LLC incorporation (if not yet incorporated)

• billing, accounting, and tax management

• marketing management (website, social media, select PR)

• inventory and registrarial management

• access to legal counsel

• access to payroll services

• logistical support of exhibitions and select other projects

• access to health care insurance, disability insurance, and a 401k (the same that Inversion Art provides its own team)
